Important Cupola Information:
* Made from hand-selected Northern White Pine
* Topped with 16-ounce 24-gauge copper roof
* All cupolas come in three sections for easy installation and delivery
* All cupolas come in bare wood & are ready for painting or staining
* All cupolas are ready for weathervane installation
* All cupolas come with installation instructions, to view go to - www.gooddirections.com - click on FAQ/Instructions & go to the bottom of the page
* The smooth base of all 30" or larger wood cupolas is built out of Marine Ply, a Douglas Fir
* All 36" & larger cupolas must ship via motor freight, 30" & less ship UPS
* Cupola size is derived from the measurement of the "unbroken" roof line (chart below)

Extension Bases:
* Our cupolas are designed for a roof pitch up to 10" rise per foot (known as "10/12 pitch) - most roofs are not steeper than this, rule of thumb: 1.25" x length of unbroken roof line = base size of cupola. However, if your pitch is steeper than 10" rise per foot, you will need to call 1 (800) 489-9496 and ask for the correct number of extension for your roof pitch (please have that information) and it's price as recommended by the manufacturer for the model you want to be purchase.
Roof Plug Hole Kit:
* Cupola Roof is predrilled for a weather vane or finial installation. If you choose not to have either we recommend you install a Roof Plug Hole Kit. The cost is $15.00 and you can order by calling 1 (800) 489-9496 or stating on your order in the "Special Instruction" to add the Roof Plug Hole Kit.
Weathervane Brass Extension Rod:
* It is recommended if your Cupola is 30" square or larger that you use the Brass Extension Rod for weathervane installation. The cost is $15.00 and you can order by calling 1 (800) 489-9496 or stating on your order in the "Special Instruction" to add the Brass Extension Rod #GD301-11BR.
Cupola Measurement:
* Cupola Copper Roof Line is where the measurement is derived, for example: 30" square cupola is only 30" at the copper roof line, the base can run two to four inches smaller. For more information and/or answer your questions call 1 (800) 489-9496 and ask for Eldon.
